MAD TV "Joe Boxer" / Monie Adamson

Now four-time American Choreography Award nominee (2001, 2003, 2004) and an Emmy-nominated choreographer (2002), Monie Adamson is honored and thrilled being recognized once again among her peers for her work on MAD tv. As a dancer, Monie’s performing adventures have spanned from Disneyland to music videos then to Rhapsody-in-Taps, working with such greats as Sandman Sims, Eddie Brown and Gregory Hines.  Her next chapter established her as resident choreographer with Warner Bros. Television for such shows as “Step by Step”, “Family Matters”, and “New York Days.”  She also choreographed the opening number for the “2003 Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards.”

Currently choreographer for FOX’s “MAD tv”, Monie is known best for her eclectic styles of choreography and innovation.  She was honored with a Dance in Action Recognition Award and an Orange Coast College award for her work with their Educational Touring Company, Danc’N E.T.C.  As founder/owner/artistic-director of the brand-new FOCUS Dance Center for the Performing Arts in Irvine, California, she possesses a great passion for guiding and instructing young dancers.  Monie is grateful to “MAD tv” for including her in their magic, and to American Choreography Awards for their efforts toward raising visibility in this wonderful world of dance!  You can learn more about Monie by visiting her website at: http://www.FocusDanceCenter.com/
